Bryan Forbes RIP

The actor, writer and director Bryan Forbes has died. He had a long term working partnership with Richard Attenbourgh.

As an actor he did films like The Colditz Story and League Of Gentlemen. He directed the likes of Whistle Down The Wind, Raging Moon, International Velvet and The Wrong Box. He wrote the screenplay of Chaplin.

He was married to actress Nanette Newman and their daughter Emma Forbes is a tv and radio presenter

Sad news, he made some terrific movies and with very different themes too.
