Favorite Escape Poll - Final Round - #1 vs. #2 vs. #6

Postby ChiO » December 30th, 2013, 9:10 pm

With the last minute tampering at the polling place, there are three contendas in the final round: #1 THE GREAT ESCAPE, #2 A MAN ESCAPED and #6 GRAND ILLUSION.

May the best (A) Man (Escaped) win.

What can I say?

Perhaps the Coolness factor of McQueen + Garner + Coburn trumps that of Holden.

Now...will Bresson and Renoir cancel each other and bring in Sturges (Oak Park's John, not Chicago's Preston)?

My, oh, my.

If anyone had ever told me that there would be a poll that includes GRAND ILLUSION -- any topic, theme or category (okay, maybe not Musical Comedy) -- and it would garner ZERO votes, I'd think they're nuts.

C'est la vie.

There's still time to cast your vote for A MAN ESCAPED. Or, switch your vote to A MAN ESCAPED. Not that I support A MAN ESCAPED.

It was the only one I could never bring myself to vote against.
