Dorothy Lamour and Rita Hayworth
1944 Hollywood Function
Only one picture of them together and I just love the candidness of them here.

Erik, It's surprising that we chose the same images.

Rosalind Russell with the well-respected and talented actress, Barbara Stanwyck. There is a soldier in between them as they chat who doesn’t seem to know what to do with himself. I think this photograph is a treasure!

I hate feeling old. I loved watching Tommy on so many Disney Channel repeats in the 80s. He and Dean Jones were a standard of excellence for a 12 year old me.

Thanks for telling me that this picture of them at the Brown Derby back in 1944. - I had to improvise of the title of my original post to Hollywood Function - because these two actresses attended a lot of them during their Hollywood Careers.

Never would have recognized Tommy Kirk in a million years (still recall if just yesterday my dad taking me to the Lyceum to see VILLAGE OF THE GIANTS). Reckon the sad truth is that - yes . . . we do all get older.
But God bless. And Lomm, you're spot right on the mark.

Enjoyed the photos and comments from all on Tommy Kirk. Being a few years older, I remember him fondly from my childhood, all the way back to "The Hardy Boys." That means I can also fondly remember TOMMY TETTIG in his original performances, including that wonderful Dr. Seuss film, The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T, which was many years ahead of its time.
