I am shocked that you want to delete this thread, as it's popular and informative, and about a REAL STAR.....

Several years ago, we had a member (Garbomaniac) who was a great fan of Hedy Lamarr and posted pictures of her and we all discussed her at length.
Then, he disappeared and left us wondering what happened to him and where is he now.
Lynn and Christy and I have discussed his whereabouts at the TCM Film Festival - and none knows a thing about him currently.

Don't let this happen to you - as you are a treasure here.

I will be greatly saddened if you cancel all and just disappear. Please remain a member and post occasionally, or certainly often!!

After a couple of PM from Larry here - I will be back on August 1st and thinking of posting less photos than I do in the past. I'm thinking about posting on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I re-hired my Agent only to work part-time for me and I won't be getting many new photos from this day forward. I've might get a dozen or so a year until I'm 60. I will be turning 60 in 3 years and I've wanted to get out of this business of collecting her by that time.

I deleted over 700 photos from my Photobucket Account and most of them are animated gifs and duplicates that I was surprised to see. I'm suffering a burnout and it was Larry convinced me to come back and I just wanted to get away from posting pictures like a robot of which I'm feeling right now.

I gave those 700 photos for my Agent to sell.

Main Reason of Coming Back


Larry told me in a Private Message that folks over at TCM visit this site on a regular basis and view my photos and because of that I've wanted to comeback for that reason alone. I wished more and more people were more active on this thread and I've just wanted to let you all know that. So, I've thanked Larry for doing that and I was stunned by his comment.

My agent (re-hired for the next 3 1/2 years; I'm going to let him go at 60) found this (above) picture - My 2nd picture of Kim (red gown) Novak and Rita (black/white) Hayworth in Pal Joey. I was surprised to see this in my hands on Monday and I had to share it today.

Back to the photo shuffle and I might throw in some surprises along the way until August 1st.

Hi Erik,

Well I did manage to watch "The Happy Thieves" and was happy!! to see Rex and Rita; but became rather disinterested in it, although not bored...
I can now say - "I've seen it" but if I don't again, I won't be disheartened.

I thought it would have been better as a TV movie, than a full screened one.
