TFG would probably be on the other side. He would be be a LIKES person. Because he likes to be liked. It doesn't occur to him that someone might LIKE someone else. And he is a button person. He has a button that he has issued to all the militias. It reads : "I Like like." Very original. Anyone under the age of 60 may not get that last.

I totally disagree. This is a great site which has been reinvigorated by us refugees from the TCM site. If you looked at the most recent posts in the categories when we joined, they were years -- sometimes more than a decade -- old. The moderators of this board have already made some adjustments, to account for best practices on boards such as this, related to design, etc. The addition of a "like" button would just be another step in that direction, a step which those who don't want to use it, don't have to.

The only way that members could double-vote is if they have two SSO identities (which, to be fully transparent and to honor fully disclosure, I have -- accidentally).

Members can, however, change their votes, which seems to have happened in at least one case today.
