Aside (for ElCid in this case, but I've seen several instances of it): When you quote a post, just put your text BELOW the last place you see

. If you don't, then your reply is IN the quoted text and no one can see that you've typed anything without scrutinizing the post closely. I don't know what the TCM forum was like but every board I've been on has worked this way and it's not usually a problem.
