I have just now noticed that movie information on: Amazon Prime Video now carries additional descriptions in the genre list.
Typical:

From Other Worlds (2001) Comedy, Science Fiction, Campy, Fun

The Mummy (1932) Suspense, Horror, Atmospheric, Downbeat

Cherry 2000 (1988) Science Fiction, Comedy, Exciting, Outlandish

The Chronicles of Riddick (2004) Science Fiction, Gritty, Malicious, Outlandish

2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) Science Fiction, Fantasy, Atmospheric, Cerebral

I do not know how long they have been doing this.
It is sad to say that I do not know how to search this field in the descriptions. I must wonder which movies would carry the list: "Comedy, Downbeat, Malicious, Cerebral" or: "Comedy, Campy, Outlandish, Gritty".

Netflix does the same thing --- three words of short phrases for a movie or series.
They've done this for a long time
