I'm thinking the Tom Lehrer song, "Who's Next." The B-Side to the 45 RPM of "Pollution."

I think it's great. I thought it was great 40 years ago.

Some were not sure if K.D. Lang was male or female.
This song is her first hit. The album is excellent.

Yes. The album cover; D-A wearin'' blonde angel with cigarettes... very Rock n' Roll. A good boy with bad habits.

Revisiting this record a few weeks ago, I've realized this is the ROXY MUSIC album I'll listen to the most. I always come back to it. They don't have a bad album, but Country Life is their best. :smiley_shades:

I never was hip to Roxy Music nor have I ever gained a grasp of the group's appeal, Allhallowsday, but I do read your reviews and sample songs you suggest...
If I've correctly read, it seems as if Roxy Music struggled to find a US audience, so I'm guessing that I'm not alone in my still ignorance of the band.

I believe Allhallowsday will listen to almost anything once.
I am infinitely more critical.
After graduation from High School, I came out of my musical closet and embraced Country Music. (1975)
I learned about 50s Music in the late 1980s.
I love anything that spins at 78 RPM.
Modern music, 2000+, is when I get picky.
So I do congratulate Allhallowsday for having a wide variety of taste in music.
All I can say is, "the older the violin, the sweeter the music."
I also believe music is medicine.

True.

Doubt it. I do like all schools of music, some more than others. I listen to much I don't like, but find amusing. I am a dilettante, yet with real taste.

I bought my first Country LP around 1979... Red Headed Stranger ...
I got heavily into 50s artists in the 80s too... RICKY NELSON ELVIS FATS DOMINO LITTLE RICHARD EVERLY BROS BO DIDDLEY
