Due to complex issues regarding my home computer, which you can read about here, It is becoming increasingly difficult to post on my home computer, so I am writing this from the public library, where computer access is limited. Moira, how did this end up? I usually wipe out and reload my computers every few months or each year anyway. They run SO much better for that next week or month...

Hi Ollie & Friends,
Well, I'm crossing my fingers, but after running a kajillion different malware removal programs each day since about the 4th of July, it seems that I've finally cracked the door open to something like my old ability to surf the internet waves again--at least for today! It just kills me that I have had a constantly updated firewall, spyware and anti-virus programs in place all this time, and have constantly cleaned out my cache and my history etc., but this still happened. The only solace is that I'm hardly alone in this recent event, since I've heard that similar stuff was occurring all over the world.

Thanks, and I hope I'll at least be able to observe here for awhile, and maybe occasionally post again to everyone who offered their theories and expertise about this matter. Hey, live and learn, eh?

I received a note from a couple of members who needed their passwords reset earlier today and we were able to correct this pronto.
