I need permission to take a break from a long list of drudgerish spring chores I assigned myself. I thought maybe some of you do, as well, especially those of us who aren't going to TCM's film festival. Since we can't take a vacation, let's take a break. Anyone else in? Let's forgive and forget...temporarily, at least. I give you permission to forgo a chore for a film, as long as you tell us about your chore and your film!

"I give myself permission NOT to schlep my dead computer to goodwill tomorrow."
My movie treat (since I'm not going to the festival:
