HAPPY ANNIVERSARY to Mr. & Mrs. Movieman1957!

Have a great Night and Day
Thank you kindly. I was hoping to get here first but alas I am late. A Happy Anniversary to you too. I hope you and your bride have a lovely day.
For you and Mrs. ChiO:

Nancy:

Thank you for the song. I really like it. I have not heard of the performer but it is a lovely tune. But all is not well at the Taylor house this morning. My bride has a book that I have been writing letters to her since we were dating and as I went to get it to write to her it is not where it was supposed to be. The last we knew she had shared the contents with someone and must not have put it back where I kept it. Her plans have changed as she now must find it.

The day has been saved. Carolann found her book. Now I just have to think of something clever and sweet to write.

* * * * * * * Happy Anniversary * * * * * * *.

from me too.

I have to say however. First we have Jack Favell who talks about how when he was a kid and they first got cable, while jdb1 is discussing old movies on early television. Now we have Chris who doesn't know who Nat King Cole is. Do you know Natalie Cole, Chris? Nat was her father. I love all of you guys and your remembrances of your youth. I know my kids and grandkids had a fit when I told them about picking up the phone and asking the operator to connect your call because there wasn't any dial available as yet. Can you imagine why iphones, and ds's are so foreign to us? I think a lot of us should be congratulated just because we can use these computers. Many of our members retired before computers were so popular in every office, so it was a trial to learn on their own. I'm lucky because I go all the way back to the Wang, and went to school to learn how to work from DOS, and finally Windows came along and made it relatively easy. But its a hard row to hoe if you have no backup usage at all.

Thank you for your best wishes.

Now...off to Downtown for some fine dining not prepared by me. Followed by -- if my Beloved plays her cards right -- either a double feature of GUN CRAZY/THE NAKED KISS or an all-night Timothy Carey Fest.

Congratulations to Chris and his lovely bride and to the ChiO's, Mr and Mrs. Looking forward to meeting Mr. ChiO at Dewey's upcoming Noir Fest. Is Mrs ChiO coming as well?

Thanks to all. We had a nice evening at dinner with the kids. It has been a lovely 26 years.

Oh, Anne I surely know Nat King Cole. I like him better than Natalie. Thanks to my mother I grew up on Andy WIlliams, Johnny Mathis, John Gary and a host of instrumentalists. Mom plays the piano so we had lots of music.

Someday I'd like to meet all of you.
