Scott Brady & Katy Jurado!

. . . okay, so they never were in a movie together . . . . but they would have been great, if they had been . .

.
For pure romance, I have to just list this duo:

For Sleepless in Seattle - Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.

I got more of a heart flip when he took her hand as they were heading toward the elevator at the end of the movie, up on the Empire State building, than from all the other mad hugs, kisses and gropings in other movies - pure, sweet tenderness.

Joel McCrea and anybody lucky enough to be opposite him..sigh.

I know we've pretty much kept this as classic stars, but 2 films that come to mind that are more current are

David Duchovny and Minnie Driver in Return to Me
Keanu Reeves and Aitana Santez-Gijon in A Walk in the Clouds

knitwit45 - Thank you for reminding me of Reeves/Santez-Gijon in - A Walk in the Clouds - they were so incredible.
I have the DVD - my girlfriend and I watch it watch it on an annual basis when we are feeling down - its so uplifting
and teaches love in a different way - of which its teaches us to evolve, adapt, and cherish one another in hope will
bring everlasting love. At the end, when all hope is lost - they find one undamaged root - and they rejoice that we
can renew of love even greater and we can set out to accomplish anything we can. This movie teaches me that.

Did they ever made another movie together?
