I wish TCM would show a day of Rudy Vallee pics one year, instead of Joe E. Brown, who seems to get the spotlight every year.

I think I'd like to see a Laird Cregar day, though I don't think he had an entire day's worth of films under his belt before his early death and spotlighting him would require considerable negotiation with Fox, since he was under contract to them for most of his movies. It wouldn't hurt to have more of Ann Doran on hand too--though she played so many uncredited or bit parts, it might be fun to pick her out in a crowd.

I like Joe E. Brown more than Rudy Vallee (even when he appeared in Preston Sturges' movies I felt that Rudy was kind of trying).

Moira, the wonderful Laird Cregar has 11 films under his belt, which would be enough for a days tribute to him on TCM.
Now to convince FOX of that plan. That is the question.
