I played a clip from FB about kittens meow-ing, and my dogs went nuts trying to find them   It's a really neat site that is a no-kill shelter in KC, they feature a new resident each day. It's all I can do not to jump in the car and go get one...each day....

Oh, I can't even go to those sites.... It's all I can do to wait out the year I promised my husband before entertaining thoughts of another doggie.

It has been nice, lately, going out for the day, and not having to think about cleaning up after a pet when I get home, though.

It's good to wait after a beloved pet dies. Some will say "oh, go get another cat/dog/bird/fish/whatever right away! I do not agree, I think we need time to mourn our friends. It helps to get a better perspective, as you are acquiring, to think things through. When you come to the conclusion that life is just better, shared with animals, then it's time to start the hunt. Please please please, if and when you do decide to add to your family, think first of the ones who are waiting patiently in our shelters.

John Lennon would probably be mortified to hear what someone did to his song, while I'm sure David Lee Roth thinks it's hilarious. Here's some more fun:

They are both incredibly interesting, but this one seems less sacrilegious. :D

Remember that video I posted awhile back about Classic Movie Moms? Being quite baby-conscious lately thanks to a new niece who has arrived on the world stage about a week ago in my family, this one really got me.
