But, facetiously I say - if I'd had to appear in that costume he's wearing, I'd probably commit suicide as well...... Forgive me, I couldn't resist!!
And, when I saw that picture of Grace Bradley at 95, I thought it was Jolie Gabor (Mama) - - they could have been twins!!

Moira, thanks for that very well written article on Ross Alexander in Classic Images. I knew he had some problems but not at that length. I wonder if he suffered from what is now known as Bipolar? Sad story indeed.

Thanks for the article about Ross Alexander Moira. He had such a sad life... Uncannily enough I have "A Midsummer's Night Dream" (1935) DVD edition beside me, waiting to be seen ASAP. I did not know that he was so madly in love with Bette Davis.

A few days ago I wouldn't have known whom Boots Mallory was. But, I just watched Stroheim's Hello Sister (1933) where she plays a sweet girl. And now, I learn that she was married to Herbert Marshall!!! 
BTW the nude bathing by Dear Myrna is from The Barbarian (1933) by Sam Wood with Ramon Novarro.
