My favorite Christmas cartoon features little animals singing, "Christmas comes but once a year. Now it's here! Now it's here!" Love that one!

That Apple ad was a real heart tugger, though it wasn't the product but the music that gets me whenever I hear it, JF.

John Lewis, a home goods type of department store in the UK, is noted for their holiday ads. Here's a Christmas ad compilation 2007-2013:

Oh my gosh, Moira! Those are fantastic! I've never seen any of them before. Makes me wonder if Apple hired the folks who do those John Lewis commercials.

The one that got to me most was the boy who ate his peas real fast, waiting and waiting and waiting for Christmas to come. (snif) (teardrop)

My Niece in a TV Commercial

She is the cute young lady at 0:35 in this clip and elsewhere. She been in several clips in other TV Spots on the East Coast and this is her first nationwide exposure and she is an aspiring actress herself and hope to land a TV Series someday as a regular. She might make it in 3-5 years from now and everyone that she works enjoys her professionalism as an actress.

She's 32 years old and married for 3 years now.

In memory of the recently-departed Christopher Jones, here are a couple of songs from his film Wild in the Streets. Whether or not he did his own singing, I don't know. The song that had a commercial release "Shape of Things to Come" is billed under the fictional band's name, Max Frost and the Troopers.

I remember the song well. Having not seen the movie, I didn't know the band was fictitious. This was a catchy tune!
