Gosh what a gorgeous smile Ivan Dixon had! I always love seeing him turn up as an actor or director. He was such a good serious actor.

Ginger looks so happy here...it makes me wonder...Mother Lela testified years later at the HUAC hearings that her daughter was forced by the studio to appear in this "Commie" picture (by a "Commie" screenwriter)....I will watch it soon.
