The Silver Screen Oasis

I'm probably the last to know this, but I just discovered that you can download many movies -- for free -- at video.google.com. For instance, here's Fritz Lang's M. And here's The Day The Earth Stood Still. I'm assuming they're all public domain movies, and probably not the best prints. But I didn't even know this was available (the wonders of the Internet U-bahn!). Could make a good reference...
