I loved seeing inside the hogan...I thought it was more elegant and clean than most of the apartments I've visited in Manhattan!

FYI, after so many weeks and hours of tediousness, I have completely revamped the News section of my John Ford website...this time hopefully for the better. I migrated the platfrom from Wordpress to Google which is less visually pleasing but easier to post and more stable. The URL link is different but still accessible from the menu on my main site (directedbyjohnford.com).

Have a look and any suggestions are welcome! Thank you!

I really am glad that you found the Google blogger system compatible with what you are trying to accomplish, Miss G. The pages look quite a bit alike to me and I hope it works out to your benefit, reaching even more people with your work on Ford.

It's my last ditch effort to make it work, Moira. Frankly, I'm tired to death of constantly "repairing" all the things that went wrong when it was on Wordpress. I just want ease of use now.

That picture of Frank makes me think of Charlie Brown. :)

Looks fine. Easy to read and find older things on it. I also hope your struggles are over with it and you can have fun doing it.

I am actually finding it easier to navigate, and there are no more overlaps that I see, which used to make it tough to read.

The John Ford Blogathon is July 7-13, 2014, so if you have anything to say about his movies or career, here is your chance to write it out for all to see:

Not sure about that. Writing takes a lot more than I have to give at the moment.

Thanks for posting this, Miss G. I also added a notice to our new Blogathon Central area about this upcoming event. I hope that others who hear about blogathons about classic film will continue to post notices of these there too.

Me, too. Ty playing pirates with Maureen was great fun. (And she only had lovely memories about him in "'Tis Herself")
