Given the swiftness of JW's demise after the wrap of his final role, this might well have been one of his last "work place" laughs.
If so, let us treasure it, 'cause love him or merely respect him, he was definitely the last one to come through that particular mold!

Thank you for pointing this out! I would never have connected the ingenue in that picture for "Mrs Olson", especially without the hair up in a braided chignon. "It's the richest kind!" And yes, we so associated her with that character that it was jarring to find her in Guess Who's Coming to Dinner. I also had no idea she was married to Fritz Field. Do you think he "popped" his mouth when he said "I do"?

Crawford wasn't cold in her grave when Christina's book hit the presses and she poured it on thick. From what I understand Christopher got into various scrapes and left the house at 18.
Sadly, Christopher and one of the twins have sinced passed away.
