Ahhhh, Viveca Lindfors with just that suggestion of Bergman. Something about those Swedish women, indeed!

Stone, I had a bigger photo of Ms. Lindfors and when I posted it a small image printed? I had a smaller image of Bobby Hyatt and when it printed it was large? Go figure.

Just saw this pleasant little film. You know, Glenn Ford has to have one of the most friendly, engaging smiles (and no, it's not that I'm prejudiced because he hails from Canada). Yet I've heard he was not always the most pleasant person, either personally and professionally. Certainly he seemed to have difficulty maintaining a marital relationship.
If I may, I was under consideration to help Peter Ford pen his father's bio, but the fact that I DO live in Canada precluded the possibility of that assignment.
However, I did write a bio chapter about Ford in my book "Pioneer Canadian Actors". He himself made an interesting observation in a 1949 interview:
"We are all three people. The person we think we are. The person the world thinks we are. And the person we really are."
Simply perceptive, but says a lot.
