Hi Joe,

What a nice picture of Hermione Baddeley - her beauty shows through in her eyes and smile..
I do have to laugh though at all that hair!! She was tiny in height, so maybe the hair added a foot or two!! (Kidding!!)....

I think that your photo of Joan & Doug may have been taken at a Marion Davies costume party... She and Hearst threw a few of those.
I regognize the wood panelling from Ocean House in Santa Monica (which is now torn down - Stupid!!)....

Larry, it's a shame that such places of splendor were torn down, most likely to make way for parking lots, supermarkets etc.
Nothing tickled me more than to watch Hermione Baddeley as Mrs Naughatuck spar with Bea Arthur on the TV sitcom "Maude"
