Is this a noir? It has some fun names: Jane Greer, Don Beddoe, Frank Ferguson. And the director of QUICKSAND, my favorite Mickey Rooney movie.

Worth recording?

I think that you will be pleasantly surprised by They Won't Believe Me (1947), a memorably subversive little noir, led by the very good performance of Robert Young.

Yes. Robert Young. For those who might wish to record it, the movie is being broadcast on TCM on Tuesday, Jan. 27 @ 12:45PM ET

I've always loved this movie (which in itself may turn some people off it, ha ha!! :P ) and enjoy all its twists and turns. But stupidly I forgot to program my recorder and I also forgot to program The Shadow on the Wall, dagnabbit!

Oh, it is a noir alright! Well worth recording.

See, MissG, we agree again. And yesterday I recorded my favorite John Ford movie, THE FUGITIVE. :D

And to think nothing froze over (except my nose
in this weather)!

By the way, I DID enjoy reading over your list of Noir
characters at TCM. I'm not posting much there till things
"get normalized" but I don't want you think I had overlooked it.

That's two for "Jim Wilson."
