My suggestions: If Animated Films and Documentaries categories can be created, please make them subforums in The Films.
Also "Please" and "Thank you!" would probably be welcomed by the administrators.

Re: new forum suggestion
This may not be the right thread for this question but here goes ...
On the defunct TCM site if you were the OP you could change the title of your thread by going to the very first post and hitting 'Edit.'
I found this useful when I did the 'Favourite Performances' or 'Favourite Foreign Films' in the Favourites Topics. It allowed you to start with one year, ie 1930 and let everyone respond with their own favourites for that year and then instead of creating yet another thread the OP could simply change the title to 1931 for the next week's poll. You could keep all the interaction in one thread that way.
Does anyone know if this function is available with SSO posts?

Re: new forum suggestion
I thought you were able to change the thread title by clicking the "pencil" icon on the first post (if it is your post of course). Can you check this?
Re: new forum suggestion
Alright, we have Animated films and Documentaries forums now under "The Films". Please try them out and let me know of any problems.EP Millstone wrote: ↑December 6th, 2022, 8:26 pmziggy6708a wrote: ↑December 6th, 2022, 3:51 pmprobably in the general genre forums

Nailed it again, Lomm! Thank you!
S'il vous plait and at your leisure and convenience, is it possible to put the THE FILMS subforums in alphabetical order (Action and Adventure, Animated Films, Comedies, Documentaries, Dramas, etc.)?
Aren't you glad that the SSO has more members to pester you?

Yes, you're correct, Lomm, the pencil (Edit post) button enables the creator of a topic to change the topic title.
