Is a 1940 RKO production directed by Dorothy Azner, the only female director at a major Hollywood studio at that time, starring Maureen O' Hara and Lucille Ball. The ladies are rivals in the world of show business, Maureen as classically trained ballet dance, and Lucy as the bump & grind type. They end up together in a burlesque house and have all kinds of problems. Maybe my description is not the best, but I wonder if any members have coments on this film, especially Ms O' Hara feminist speech near the end.

Years later Lucy & Desi bought RKO for their Desilu Productions.

I haven't seen this one in years, but I do remember thinking that Lucy was really good as the cynical floozy. I can't even remember O'Hara to tell you the truth.
