This is a very entertaining musical with Jane Powell, Vic Damone (first movie), Danielle Darrieux, Wendell Corey. The movie is nice and very entertaining. There is one big overblown scene that gave me a big laugh. In the beginning of the film Wendell is courting Danielle and takes her for a picnic on the Banks of the Sein. In the next scene just the two of them are stretched out in front of a blanket for the food and all around them are 7 (SEVEN) picnic baskets full of food. All this for just two people. I chuckled and chided my wife for not doing the same for me. My wife, Rita, laughed.
