Dames Angela and Penelope

2 Damehoods for the new Yrs Honors list. Not before time IMO Angela Lansbury is now Dame Angela. Who'd have thought the grandaughter of former Labour leader George Lansbury would have been made a Dame, when she first started out in Hollywood.
Also a Dame is Penelope Keith,for arts and chairty. She starred in The Good Life (Good Neighbours in U.S) and The Manor Born

Hi,
Angela Lansbury received her medal from The Queen today at Buckingham Palace.
She is officially a Dame of the British Empire.
Congratulations Dame Angela.
