The film The Uninvited brought use one of the most lovely jazz standards: Stella by Starlight.
Note an easy song to play and it has a unique harmonic structure since it starts on a diminished chord.
Gail Russell's screen persona was put to perfect use in this film. (but all the acting was first rate). The overall storyline is solid because it doesn't get too much into the weeds of horror.
