My brother, in his infinite wisdom, created a Google account for Mom.
(She didn't really need it. His idea to make a few things easier. Not.)
It required a text message be sent with a code, with a time limit.
I have a dumb flip phone. It can and did receive a text message code for Mom's new Google account.
I know all about Banning. Two dozen miles from Palm Springs. HA!
