Midsomer Murders

Post by Arsan444 »

I have been watching episodes of Midsomer Murders on Youtube via Bing (to avoid the ads). I think it's a good show and I'm hooked. I like the murder mysteries, and the characters usually use some British slang that I'd never heard before, like rat-arsed, poofter, didicoy, boot of a car, to nick something, to flog something, ta. Nutter I've heard it before; it reminds me of Harry Potter's tosser.
I don't think I would ever use any of those words, but it's fun to guess what they mean.
When in doubt, have another one.
