Crime Wave - Hank Worden
This Andre deToth directed noir ( well maybe ) starred Sterling Hayden, Gene Nelson, and Phyliss Kirk. Hank Worden has a small role, the commentators, on the DVD, laugh at his performance and think that he is an awful actor.

Re: Out of the Fog (1941)
The fishermen were played by Thomas Mitchell & John Qualen. AS this film was being shown on TCM the other night cable channel 187 ( WLS Ch.7 ) was playing The Long Voyage Home with Thomas Mitchell & John Qualen. Out of the Fog is one John Garfield film that I dont care for.

Re: The Mortal Storm
. All the moderators get upset and angry at me when I get political on this board so I've stopped even reading threads that sound the least little bit political, but when I revisit a movie like The Mortal Storm as I did tonight, I feel a chill run up my back over the possibility of something like t...

Re: McClintock ! Sexist ?
This morning and early afternoon I've been reading review of various films, including McClintock!, from Amazon. Many of the favorable reviews applaud the " political incorrectness " of it, due to Waynes spanking of Ms O' Hara. I just dont know, at one time I loved with film with all its sl...
