Re: KRAKATOA WEST OF VINE

Anyone here ever catch this movie's sequel..."Krakatoa: And It Hurts Like Hell" ?

It's the story of Murray Schwartz M.D., Beverly Hills' Podiatrist to the Stars.

(...didn't think so...it was a box office bomb, ya know)

Re: Fav. kid cartoons...

Did anyone here ever get into this British animated series that was shown on American television via Nickelodeon in the early-'80s?... https://is5-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/OKIRlQnUgMq8H3UZX79xKg/1200x675.jpg I did, and even though I was far from being a kid and was in my late-twenties at the tim...

Re: Noir Alley

I wasn't that impressed with FOLLOW ME QUIETLY. Like I've said before they cannot all be DOUBLE IDEMNITY. It appears that after all these years Eddie is running out of noirs that he can show. I hate that because I love Noir Alley. However, as someone once said "all good things must come to an ...

Yep Fedya, I wondered about that as I watched the end of that clip. And, am now wondering if the print TCM shows includes it?

(...guess I'll have to watch it the next time they show it to find out, huh)

Re: A Glimpse of Golden Age Hollywood

While not an old photo, I loved the following "Glimpse of Golden Age Hollywood" (and in this case about Linda Darnell, starting at the 1:27 mark) that Carol Burnett relayed to Stephen Colbert while she took his Colbert Questionert last week on his program. I think you folks will like it to...

The interesting point about the story is that Producer Arthur Jacobs was going to cast the winner of the contest as a chimpanzee in the film, but when he saw the lady, decided he'd rather cast her as...
