Yea, I just googled Bree Daniels and found out she is an American porn star.

Re: July 2024 Schedule Posted, Eva Marie Saint is SOTM

But the character's name is Berry-Berry, not Berry. The actors are just being true to the writer's creation. By the way, Evan Evans plays a role in the movie. She's one of Berry-Berry's women/victims. Gee, everyone knows all that. Still, to me it is annoying. Also, if you have read my POV all these...

William Wyler is my choice, especially for actresses. I believe the films he directed had the most nominations for best-actress, as well as wins.

I love ALL FALL DOWN. https://i.imgur.com/5kBU3MW.jpg I like All Fall Down. What I don't like is when Angela or Brandon say Berry-Berry. One Berry is enough for me. Re: Vietnam War essentially ignored - Again!

TCM is mostly a studio-era movie channel. Most of the Vietnam war films were released after the end of the studio-era. Also, many are anti-war films, and it is my understanding most Americans view the Vietnam war as a misguided (at best), conflict by the US government. Thus, showing such films on M...

Re: July 2024 Schedule Posted, Eva Marie Saint is SOTM

They have a lot of TBA on the Eva Marie Saint days, does that mean they don't know which films they will show yet? I hope one of them is A Hatful Of Rain (1957) When TCM first posts their schedule, they tend to not list the films they are leasing from other studios, so these become the TBA titles. ...

Re: Vietnam War essentially ignored - Again!

There are older Vietnam war movies, such as China Gate (1957), Flame over Vietnam (1957) and The Quiet American (1958). 1978's Go Tell the Spartans (Burt Lancaster) is one of my favorites. TCM is also showing a goodly number of fairly recent movies of all types these days, so going back to the 80's...

This weekend's Noir Alley selection is Bad for Each Other (1953), starring Charlton Heston, Lizabeth Scott, and Dianne Foster. As part of TCM's Memorial Day Weekend Marathon theme, the film has Charlton Heston playing an Army colonel and doctor who returns home to Pennsylvania on leave after servin...
