Re: POLL: Do you want a Like button?
But, is there a possibility that a poster who originally voted for the like button can change his/her mind and vote against the like button? Maybe we should look into that. Thompson , When I created the Do you want a Like button ? poll, I clicked the setting Allow re-voting , which enables voters t...

Re: Least favorite TV Series
Not a fan of so-called reality series. They are manipulative (for both the viewers and the participants). The only one that I ever watched was The Amazing Race, but I haven't watched it in years. Not even sure if it's still on.

Re: Familiar faces, new forum
I have a little trouble navigating here. For example, if I post something that's in one of the "Recent Topics" section, I find that I can't locate the thread easily later, because I don't remember (or didn't notice) what topic it was in. This is a good, but very "busy" board. I ...

Re: 2023 TCM Film Festival
Thank you. I have been following the TCMFF a few years now and living vicariously through all those that actually get to go. I'm excited that now I'll be one of those people. I know that Thursday night, we're doing the red carpet/opening night movie/party. I don't even care what the opening night m...

Re: 2023 TCM Film Festival
Yes. We decided to go all out. We wanted to get the full experience. I will also admit that the priority seating was a big incentive too. LOL. I can't wait to find out what other films will be there aside from the announced ones, and who the special guests will be. I've never not been able to get i...

Re: 2023 TCM Film Festival
I don't have a Citi credit card. I bought my passes yesterday during the 9am drop. I got 2 Spotlight passes. Going all in I see on your first visit! :smiley_shades: I've only bought the Classic passes, except for one year when I bought the Essential pass. I never had a Citi card until this past yea...

Re: TCM On Demand merged with HBO Max?
Has anyone else noticed this? I see frequently that movies usually reserved for TCM On Demand are now popping up with “Play on HBO Max” instead of “Play on Demand.” I see this much more frequently now. Have they officially merged together? HBO Max requires you sign into your account which is why I ...

I'm not seeing it. Scroll below the Most Recent Topics section at the top. Choose one of forums listed below and click on it. You see New Topic at the top. STILL not seeing it. WHERE is it? Make sure you're at the "Forum" level, with a list of topics, as that's the only place you'll see t...

Re: TCM announces it is sunsetting the TCM Forums
I'm on both sites (TB classicfilmTVradio, and this one). At this stage both sites are rather "dead"; i.e. not a lot of interesting conversations but I assume that will soon change. Anyhow, I can't recall seeing any "drama" from those at the classicfilmTVradio site related to thi...

Re: Coming Up on TCM
That makes me wish I still had TCM. I'd like to see that doc. Maybe I can find it online somewhere. According to Letterboxd, I've seen more films with music by Steiner than any other composer (163 films). Update: I found it on Vimeo (via this link: https://www.torontofilmmagazine.com/post/watch-max...
