I think that Star Wars has been good for Science Fiction films.It brought Sci-Fi to the mainstream audience & proved to the studios that Sci-Fi if done well could sell tickets.Also if Star Wars bombed when first released, we maybe would not of had Indiana Jones,etc. in the 80's & beyond.Just...

This is my All time favorite film.My mother told me when I was older that had started to watch it at about the age of 2.I have always been a fan of Judy Garland since watching this film.When she passed away in 1969 I was crushed for quite some time.I still watch it at least 1 - 2 times a year. _____...

Yes it is my favorite genre.I grew up reading Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine in the mid 1970's.Back then you did not have cable tv or DVD's to watch over and over again.I also enjoy Western's, Musical's,Drama & Comedy of the 1930's,40's and 50's.

I think what stands out about Bride of Frankenstein is the detail to the characters and the sets are outstanding.I think that is why I prefer black & white films over color.There is more texture to the scene & shadows stand out better in black & white.
