Happy Birthday to the wonderful William Reynolds. One of those little heralded actors from the 50s who never got their
due.

Re: *CANDIDS*

Maggie Hayes is one of my favorites. Some movies she was in are Good Day for a Hanging, The Case Against Brooklyn,
The Bottom of the Bottle, Violent Saturday, Blackboard Jungle and The Glass Key(which was on TCM just the other day).
She also did lots of TV. Check her out IMDB.

Re: *CANDIDS*

A very Happy Birthday to the wonderful Gloria Grahame, my most favorite film noir lady. I don't care about her
private life, just her screen life and she has become one of my 5 most favorite ladies of the screen.

Again, I am sorry you left us so early, but Happy Birthday, wherever you are.

I have the interviews on tape. I watched a few months ago when I was organizing my collection. They all are so
wonderful.

a great big birthday wish to Douglas Dick, a favorite.

Also, Phyllis Thaxter. As with Mr Dick, an underrated actor.

Like them both and their work.

Re: *CANDIDS*

They are buried in the Actor Fund Plots in Vahalla cementary outside NYC. I have been there a few times and seen all the actors/actresses who are buried there, usually 2 names on a stone. I think they had no money so the actors fund paid for it. Many name everyone would recognize.

Yes, I watched it. This is the kind of little noir film I really am into. Hope TCM shows more of this kind.

Re: *CANDIDS*

Thanks for the great pic of Mercedes McCambridge. She was a great actress in my mind. All the King's Men, Giant, Suddenly Last Summer to name a few. Just got Angel Baby, but haven't watched it yet. Will be great to look at it with Mercedes and another favorite Joan Blondell.

So sorry to hear of the deaths of two actors from the 50s, Joan Taylor and Jerome Courtland. They were not that well known "b" movies, I know them both from their performances.
