Good show!

Westerns were never my favorite film genre, but "Deadwood" was my favorite HBO show. Now they're saying they probably won't resolve it with a movie.

But I bought the "threefers" anyway....it's got the Bette Davis version too.
The 41 classic has a commentary by Sklar. I'm glad I have it....just to have it.

I saw the "Spanish" Dracula several years ago. It was interesting. The actor who played Dracula did nothing for me. I kept getting distracted by how big his ears were. The two performers who shone were Lupita Tovar as "Mina" and the man who played Renfield. Tovar was very bright...

Wow!

I think that The Magnificent Ambersons (even in the cut that survives) is a better film than Kane . I like Kane a great deal and I think it is a ground breaking film but have never felt it was the best film ever made and I think that Ambersons' trumps it in the end for enjoyment and story telling. ...

Well I think any scene where either Chaplin or Oakie were just sending up their targets,it was funny. I think the comedians were funny "in their bits".
A great film? No.
Yes, "Verdoux" was a much better film.
