Mr, Budwing
Chris, Thanks for the very nice welcome. I do like this site better than any yet. RE: "Mr, Budwing' It was somewhat disjointed, I guess. I liked the cast and the fact that it was unpredictable kept me interested. I've been curious since reading a review that was highly critical and wondered abo...

'great' films?
I thought 'Gentlemen's Agreement' very boring. It got the oscar or, at least, a nomination. Other disappointments: 'The Boy Friend' I expected a good one with songs from the 20s I walked out halfway through it. 'Deadline at Dawn (not sure of title) movie about ww2 nothing to it. About 'Casablanca', ...

tearjerkers
Some very good ones mentioned here. I'll add a couple. The scene in the park in 'Four Daughters' with John Garfield and Pat Lane Saw this in a theater in 1938, saw it again on tv, the mood was gone. what a difference. The last scene in 'Till We Meet, Again'. In both cases the mood music helped treme...

R Walburn
Hi Moira. Always nice to hear from you.
re: Walburn. I laugh every time I hear his name.
If you can, see 'Christmas in July'. One of Sturgis' films. Walburn was a riot.
