Re: RE:
I thought if I decided to enter, I could do my impressions of Doris Day... [snip] ...Owl Jolson from I Love to Singa , and Yogi Bear. But, then again, I think people would laugh at me. I thought it was "Sue Sue". Or is it "Boo Boo"? http://plasticage.net/gallery/albums/userpics/...

Re: Cynical Cinema?
Also, to be able to program an evening makes the whole contest more enticing! I'd love to program the night, but would dread being on the camera side of the action. Maybe I could have a stand-in? Body double? Mr. Rubini - While sitting next to Robert Osborne may be reward enough for some people, I ...

Re: Guest Programmer Contest
jondaris - Wow they aren't giving us long, are they? So, does that mean you are planning on entering? I was hoping a few other folks were going to volunteer up their intentions about entering the contest. It is a rather "odd" audition process. Entrants are asked to tell in 3 minutes why th...

Re: Ongoing discussion of TCM board posters
It is my feeling that this sort of thing is not illustrative of particularly constructive discussion. After all, we have moved on...and it's time to focus on the positive rather than dwelling on the negative So - Is there any way we could move past this and get on with things? ... I have found that...

Kyle, with your reasoning, TCM should certainly look into hiring you as a Co-host for The Essentials. It would certainly be better than listening to Osborne and Fisher giving their somewhat lacking explanations! They don't seem to actually enjoy the movies they're telling us to watch. Weird. Hi sug...

Hi Benhowell - The problem with displaying the picture is with IMDB and not anything you did. IMDB has a special method for displaying their photos intending to stop the photos from being copied and displayed all over the internet. I don't think you can link to a Photo Gallery image at IMDB because ...
