Shirley does it for me, too. Whenever I need a pick-me-up, all she has to do is appear with that smile and my troubles melt away. At least for a few minutes.

Love your character thread! I enjoyed Walter Slezak in Lifeboat, among others. He was so entertaining in that film. When I wasn't watching Tallulah or John Hodiak, I was watching him.

Great shot of Noble.

I loved that Barnaby Jones theme, too! Also, jondaris, clever how you suprised me with "Have Gun Will Travel!" Enjoyable faves: Mission, Impossible, Rockford Files. I seem to have revered listening to the theme of The Flying Nun for some odd reason, but I haven't heard it in ages. Rawhide,...

Dear Ken, I just want to agree to disagree with you. I enjoy your posts, but I feel like The Producers is a comedy classic. Maybe you should watch it with someone who truly enjoys it, and find something else to celebrate about it, or it simply just might not be your cup of tea. A movie that I simply...

All I know is that I am from Texas, and I would never vote for Bush as a presidential candidate. I learned too much from his stint and a half as governor. What he left undone, and left for Perry is monumental. And, of course, since Perry is looking at his national propects, he hasn't affected much c...

Tom Poston had such great expressions, and his comedic timing was so precise. How great that you got to see him once. I didn't realize he was so tall, but he was cute!

You've got it. Grant and Scott! I am so glad! This was a great thread idea. Next time I will try to arrange my clues for more clarity. (If I can ever guess another question correctly!) You mentioned Wally Cox and Marlon. I wish the Brando doc would have at least discussed what good friends they were...
