Because there's so much about their lives still uncovered.
And more importantly, does it really matter?
Just enjoy their art, the music.

Re: Wicked (movie version)
Thanks guys- I've requested the book from my library.
I'm generally not a fan of fiction either but it's only 409 pages long.
If it doesn't capture my interest, I'll know not to bother seeing the show.

The Plot Thickens was really good too. I loved the Lucy episode! I loved The Plot Thickens too! My favorite was Pam Grier's: I'm not as familiar with 70's-80's movie history as "Golden Age" and learned a lot from that episode! Grier's participation in the telling of her own career history...

Bowen Yang as Pfanee, a college friend of Galinda (later Glinda). Bowen Yang would have been good as either character. Bowen Yang is great in anything he does...what an exquisite talent! My beef with this picture is co-ed college-certainly not something common when the original Baum story books wer...

Re: Taylor Swift Song Sparks Interest in the Rise and Fall of Clara Bow
But that's the extent of it....Swift fans may look up Clara Bow on wiki but it'll end there only because there aren't "It Girl" t-shirts. I met yet again another 20 something girl who said she loves Marilyn Monroe but has never seen her in any movie. I then asked what she loved about MM an...

Are you asking about the escapepress.com page?
That is the one I have bookmarked and it works OK.
Possibly it was down a short while for maintenance/upgrading?

Another recommendation Baazigar (Hindi) - SRK stars in a remake of A Kiss Before Dying Indian "remakes" generally leave me cold at best, Amitabh Bachchan/Sanjay Dutt in ALADIN Mystery of the Lamp was so bad it made me angry! My first Bollywood movie was SRK in SWADES which sparked my fand...

The scheduled showing of Harold and Maude coming up on February 8 goes along with the Power of Film documentary series that evening, so Professor Howard Suber must comment on the film at some point in episode 6. Has anyone been watching the Power of Film series? I've recorded it but have not watche...

Wasn't there a special Scorsese special segment where he talks about the movie Harold & Maude? Or is it just a 2 minute intro?
