Re: What Your Movie Preferences Reveal About You
Ooooh, don't be sad, Erik! These quizzes can never be accurate, but sometimes the questions can stir discussion. What disappointed you the most? For me, it was a bit too "generalized". For instance, no questions about how movies appeal to me for "nostalgia" but for a time I never...

What Your Movie Preferences Reveal About You
Here's an interesting quiz that goes a little deeper into what our likes/dislikes in movies says about us:

The quiz was developed by a psychologist. My results were all over the place, typically!

Re: Me-TV
ME TV has a weak signal, or however you say it. It goes out a lot. Do you think that's the cause of the blackout? Or is it intentional? You've hit on it, Red. It does periodically go wacko on me. It was back yesterday, but it does seem to pick the days I actually have time to watch it to go out, lol.

Not sure about that. Writing takes a lot more than I have to give at the moment.

Re: Me-TV
My Me-TV has been blacked out since yesterday...I missed all the cop shows. Thank goodness for COZI to take up the slack. I have never seen Betty's show but I have seen one or two of Annie's. All good.

Re: Welcome to Scott Eyman, Our Guest Author May 8-9
Mr. E, Regarding James E. Grant , would you conclude he had contributed more to Wayne's career than he gleaned from the association? His name pops up quite a bit in Wayne's life story but I wonder if in hindsight his "career" was less that of a writer than a coat-tail rider. His verbal st...

Erik (Rita Hayworth Fan): this picture exemplifies what I mean about Wayne's onscreen tenderness with women.

Mr. E --- Ford-Wayne-(Gary) Cooper . Imagine something a la Ride the High Country with Wayne and Cooper, directed by Ford. What might have been. Again---please don't feel obliged to answer all my questions, I know you can't sit with us in our sandbox all day (too bad!) I did not read much about Gar...

Clementine. I always liked that name. Thank you for your thoughtful replies. And that was a kind gesture by Mr. and Mrs. Wagner for Coop. One of the tangential pleasures of reading your book about Wayne was learning more about Henry Hathaway , who has never emerged clearly as a man to me. His almost...

What a pleasure to welcome you back to our little fold, Mr. E! Thank you for taking time out for us from what I know is a busy schedule. And my congrats on your JW book being a NYTimes Best Seller . If I'm not mistaken, so is your latest memoir with Wagner---makes two home-runs this year. Pea-green ...
