It's about time. I have wanted to see this one for a long time. I saw it years ago and really enjoyed it. It's sad to think most people only know the more recent version.

OOOOOH! OOOOH! I just caught this post - great news! I've been requesting this for a couple years over at the TCM "Suggest a Movie" site, and also even asked the management at The Stanford Theatre if they could screen this sometime. Unlike MM1957, I have NEVER seen this before - can't wait!

Well, I was just piddling around over at YouTube, and discovered some bloke has started to load this film up in parts - 1st to 5th are posted. Soooo... can I hold the suspense and wait until Netflix gets the Criterion Arthouse Edition? Nah - too tempted - back to YT to watch Part 1!
