If Dorothy Parker is there, you really have to have Benchley too.

And I would LOVE to know what Harpo's voice sounded like. Who knows, he might even show up naked under his coat. That's Entertainment!

Harpo spoke and was recorded here.
The year was 1936, and Harpo was attending the premiere of "The Great Ziegfeld". While waiting to be introduced, Harpo said to the M.C., "You gotta do the talking." They hadn't realized that the camera began rolling a bit early and this was recorded. Then Harpo is officially introduced and you hear him saying "Honk, honk".

The voice you hear introducing this clip belongs to Leonard Maltin.

Moira -

Aaaaah! I had to think about whether I really wanted to hear it..... Harpo's voice is so deep and masculine... I am completely flabbergasted. I think I'm in love all over again. :D :D :D

Mongo,

these are great birthday photos this morning. I don't think I've ever seen a prettier Anne Baxter or a more handsome Val Lewton. And as for Gary? sigh....

Keep em coming!

Gary over Gabby? I'm shocked, stunned and outraged!

Not sure by any means, but I do see a resemblance to Ted Healy, the Stooges' original mentor.

Nah, I don't think so Klon. I can't post photos from here, but I just looked for Healy on Google Photos, and he doesn't really look anything like that.

This face is so very familiar, and I sort of have an image of this man yelling. Hmmmm . . . .

Insert your own "rose colored glasses" joke here.

Perhaps the following is what the photographer had in mind - from a website explaining the colors of auras:
Pink
Positive: Pink auras indicate warm heartedness, love and vocation. Blazes of dark pink often appear in an aura during the early stages of a love affair.
Negative: Dusty pink indicates an immature attitude, just fooling around, no genuine love of anything.
