I can't tell you how much I LOVE that Eve Arden picture! It's so incongruous and sweet! If I hadn't read Moira's fantastic essay on Arden, I would never have believed it.

Me too, Joe -- I love that candid moment with Eve Arden!
If anyone would like to hear a nice interview with Miss Arden done for a Chicago radio program back in 1975, here it is:

Joe, the Speaking of Radio site is not loading for me now either, but it was working fine earlier today. Maybe they are having technical difficulties, or are performing some maintenance or updates. Whenever the site is back up it's worth checking out -- there are a lot of great interviews posted.

PT, I managed to get through and the interview was very interesting. Was surprised that Miss Arden didn't care for her role in "Mildred Pierce", although she praised "Voice of the Turtle".

It's about 6:30 here on the east coast, and I just listened to Eve Arden's interview which was charming....so I think the site is working again.
I'm trying to figure out what Desilu set that is, because Lucy's pants are looking just a little bit worse for wear.... flour perhaps? I can think of a few episodes it might be, or it could be from the Long Long Trailer as well.

From Lucy's hairstyle, if this is an episode of ILL it's probably later in the series, after they had moved to Connecticut. Perhaps when they built the barbecue, then took it apart looking for Lucy's wedding ring, and then rebuilt it.
