I'm a newbie here; started on page 1 of the thread a few days ago and am into 2009. Also checking the new pix and posts daily. This is so much fun! Thanks for all the work you all do--especially Mongo--to share the wonderful pix and comments. Looking forward to joining the fun!

Welcome, Wayoutwest. Hope you will enjoy the board! Who's that duking it out in your avatar? The guy on the right looks a bit like Tim Holt.

(I haven't figured out how you seasoned posters make the background color different when quoting a prior post--would love coaching on that.)

Thanks for the welcome, Moira! That's Clayton Moore whompin' on Dale Van Sickel in the serial "The Ghost of Zorro". I just love it when the good guy gives the bad guy a black eye :)

W.O.W., you have a lot of great stuff to enjoy, courtesy of our dear Mongo (aka Joe).

After awhile, you might want to check out all the info he gave us in his now dormant but fascinating thread, In the Spotlight, overflowing with tales of Hollywood's myriad creative figures. Take your time, enjoy and thanks for identifying the cowpoke as Clayton Moore (I'd never know him unmasked!):
