Edie Adams, one of the few women in entertainment, besides Debbie Reynods, that I ever felt sorry for. When Ernie Kovacs died, he left her a ton of debt, and I understand she took any and every job she could to pay off all of his backers. I believe it took her something like 15 years, but she did it.

Hi Fernando,

I recommend that you see "The Corn is Green" (1945).
It is one of Bette Davis' finest performances and an intelligent movie with a good storyline.
Mildred Dunnock is in it also and Rosalind Ivan - both good actresses.
Actually, everybody in the cast is excellent.

LOUIS JEAN HEYDT (1903 - 1960)

Lewie Louaaaaay - he must've been in every movie ever made. When I was watching "The Fastest Gun Alive" I saw him questioning Glenn Ford. Wow. What a career. Him and John Ridgely; the two workingest actors in Hollywood.

John Ridgley--saw him turn up in "Streamline Express" (1935) the other night, and why his sudden appearance should have been a surprise, I don't know. Maybe it's because he looked so young.

The frame captures below aren't the greatest, but... Can you see him on the right? As a steward on the Express, he's just being assigned to search for Esther Ralston's missing diamond.

Noble Johnson was also the "young" Indian leader in She Wore Yellow Ribbon. Considering he was in his late sixties at the time it was interesting casting.
