Re: *CANDIDS*
What a super picture! I love it!
I just found out recently that Pard was Bogie's own dog, and they used him in the picture because he had such a strong attachment to Bogie.

Bogie's dog (don't know if it was Pard) was used in Stand In also, he carried that pooch everywhere!

Pat Crowley! I loved Please Don't Eat the Daisies on TV when I was a kid.
Drew Barrymore's grandma was a beautiful, beautiful lady.
And they've just made a movie starring the great Christopher Plummer as her grandpa John:

I believe this is based on Plummer's one-man Barrymore play.

Wendy, in the credits for "High Sierra" the dogs real name is Zero. Glad that you like the image.
Paula, Drew Barrymore certainly came from some fine stock. She proved herself in the HBO movie
"Grey Gardens" and won a Golden Globe Award to boot.

Re: *CANDIDS*
Oh my gosh! Is it a regular movie or something for HBO?
Christopher Plummer does a very good impersonation in this trailer, his tone is spot on, though no one would ever mistake the two men for one another, looks wise. I am not a huge Plummer fan, but he can be marvelous with the right director (I may have to eat my words if this movie is really great). BARRYMORE - well, I AM a huge fan of his. I like Drew too.

Re: *CANDIDS*
Very Cute Picture of Natalie Wood ... I love the smile on her face, its so adorable on her.
Re: *CANDIDS*
Jackfavell, I believe it's a theatrical release, i.e., there's Oscar buzz (and no wonder).
Drew Barrymore proved herself in E.T. :) It's been gravy ever since... delightful, wonderful, delicious rich gravy. Believe it or not, one of my favorite Drew B. performances is in The Wedding Singer, a movie I just adore (that includes Adam Sandler). She was fabulous at the TCM fest in April... smart, funny, warm, a true delight, and most importantly...
SHE IS ONE OF US.
She's a TCM addict!
