Tony Randall looks like he could be Raymond Burr's brother there!

Loved the picture of the disembarking MacDonald and Raymond. I'd like to see the home movies of this trip. It would be fascinating to see Hawai'i as it was in the 1930's.

Klondike, Dub was cast in his first film, ''You Can't Take It With You'', because he knew how to play the xylophone, which was a requirement for the character.

Does someone have a Magic Marker for me to borrow? I want to draw a cowlick on Alfalfa. This image is just not right without it.

How fun it must have been to hang-out with EGR - the man's brain was just gigantic, and his heart, so warm!

Bill Demarest - the hardest working man in show business!
Mongo, I'm wondering: are there any other known silver screen performers who conquered six different mediae with salaried jobs?
William Demarest started in Vaudeville[1], went on to Broadway[2], then silent motion pictures[3], talkies[4], radio drama[5], & finally, a television series[6].
(Jimmy Durante, maybe?)

I did not know that - that today is Van Williams's Birthday ... I met him in person and he autograph this picture below.

Just recently, I watched a marathon of the Green Hornet on Sci-Fi Channel.
It was great going back and being a KID all over again.
It was great going back and being a KID all over again.

Hornet Sting, Hornet Gun, Let's roll Kato, Scanner Check, and seeing Wende Wagner - who played Leonre Case ... what eye candy appeal. ... And, of course - the rolling arsenal - The Black Beauty. - I watched it from 9am to 5pm in the afternoon that day and I was having a blast of being a KID again. I just love this show when I was a KID. I'm 52 now ... but when the Hornet was on Television - I was 6 years old ... my parents let me stay up to watch this show with my three older brothers and I had a lot of fun watching this show.

He and Adam West remains good friends ... I was sad when I heard that Green Hornet did not come back for the 2nd
Season. He was constantly amazed the number of fans - like me that supported his role as the Green Hornet.

Very Friendly and he has a warm gentle personality. I find him to be very generous to his fans ... he was very fortunate to work with Bruce Lee - and even Bruce was sad when the Green Hornet got taken off the airwaves of television.

In short, Van Williams is a Gentlemen Gentlemen. I'm surprised that he is 77 years old. I thought he would be older.

GREEN HORNET RULES ...

Hey, I just realized: Both the Uncles from "My Three Sons" (Frawley as "Bub" & Demarest as "Charley") were born 1 calendar day apart!
How cool's that?
