Here is an article about Margot Lane, the aide/friend/companion of Lamont Cranston, a.k.a.... "The Shadow" -- one of radio's most beloved characters. She was initially played by Agnes Moorehead, and this article has three photos of the lovely Miss Moorehead from that period.

Thank you for sharing this pvitari! I remember my grandfather talking about this all the time and he is a big fan of Agnes Moorehead.

I know it's been a while since anyone has posted to this thread, but I thought in honor of Agnes' birthday, she deserved a post.

Agnes would probably be throwing a Christmas party to kick off the Christmas season - and her birthday. How I would love to have been able to attend one of them. :D To a marvelous lady, I hope you are having a very happy birthday in Heaven!
